Maroux’s expertise sits at the meeting point between theatrical performance, creativity and human communication.

She completed a Bachelor of Performing Arts with Honours at Flinders University Drama Centre before travelling to Paris, where she undertook two intensive years of physical-theatre training at the internationally renowned École Jacques Lecoq.

​

At Lecoq, Maroux explored the many ways stories can be communicated and the integral role the body and voice play in giving those stories life and meaning.

​

Following her Lecoq training, Maroux continued her exploration of theatre and storytelling at La Sorbonne University in Paris, completing a Master's degree in French Culture and Literature with a focus on Theatre and Philosophy.

​

All her training remains fundamental to the philosophy behind Next Stage Coaching.

 

Her career has taken her across performance and communication, and she has designed and facilitated communication workshops internationally.
